Both music and UX thrive on balancing a controlled rhythm and an improvisational flow.

My Story

It all started when I moved from Los Angeles to New York City by myself at the age of 14 to attend The Juilliard School. I relied on musical storytelling as my main form of communication, which sparked my interest in how non-verbal language can impact audiences.

When I discovered UX design, I was exhilarated to find something that requires the empathy and communication skills I have honed for decades. The industry allows me to harmonize with others to create unified solutions, continuously improvise in service of pixel-perfect frames, and experiment freely to create enduring products.

When I'm not practicing the art of design, I can be found on stage at Lincoln Center, teaching on weekends at The Juilliard School 🎻, cooking Sichuan food, or enjoying walks with my dog, Miche 🐶.

Okay, that's enough about me. Let's talk about you! Shoot me a message and send some music recommendations as a convo starter 😀
